About Me

Hi! My name's Ariel, and it is very nice to meet you.

​

Writing has always been a natural skill for me. I could craft 'A' papers with little effort all through my years of school. Songwriting has been my go-to form of expression since I was a small child. And I quickly became a top writer when I wrote for Puckermob, through my ability to connect and support my readers - it is my best form of communication. I have had the chance to hone in on my short writing abilities through email creation by turning headers, sub-headers, and summaries into short, but attention-grabbing, copy. As well as receiving a UX Writing Certification through UX Writing Hub in June of 2021.

To be able to continue my love of writing through my career sounds like an absolute dream. Nothing excites me more than the opportunity to help a consumer have the best experience possible from the project I am working on. To help them create a meaningful connection to the product and enhance their time spent with a brand. 

​

But besides writing, I am also proficient in a variety of other job features. From online landing pages set up to vanity URLs and redirects to analytics, I have developed a well-rounded eCommerce marketing skill set - all of which can be expanded on in my resume.

I should add that I am open to relocating and have actively been searching for opportunities inside and outside of my current location.

e-commerce promotion coordinator, meredith corporation

Collaborates with others across various marketing, creative, and product teams, as well as outside partners, to ensure a cohesive final marketing campaign setup. Manages multiple campaigns from beginning to end to make sure all groups have a coordinated setup and can achieve a successful marketing effort.

  • Creates landing pages for the onsite, paid, email, and direct marketing teams on Meredith-owned sites. Setups Special Interest Publications, books, and back issues onsite as well

  • Helped launch new online magazine store once it was transferred to Meredith controlled software program. Also helped in Meredith’s accessibility by setting up Alt Text on all old and new images across Meredith sites and brands

  • Sets up, coordinates, and manages vanity URL redirects to ensure URLs are available and reserved by the appropriate team

  • Writes SEO short and long copy for all new titles on Meredith owned sites

  • Pulls and organizes monthly data for use across teams

  • Continues to write, copy edit, and curate content for newsletters supporting additional marketing efforts. Improved upon the clarity and uniformity of newsletter, boosting open rates and engagement

  • Member of the Mentorship Committee, tasked with creating and facilitating Meredith’s first mentoring program.

  • Collaborated with other team members and editorial teams in order to have cohesiveness between all platforms
